Cylinder heads gone on after a complete rebuild, looking great.. Cant wait to get it back into the car
Some more work has happened this week, bolting on a lot of the externals, nearly ready to be put back into the car. The transmission is also having a tidy up so waiting on that to return from the specialists..
Looking forward to firing this one up…
Short Week this week, nice to have a couple of AMG Mercedes come through the doors. The coupe hasn’t seen many km’s over the last few years, so we did our part to help get the rego back on track, while the C55 got a fresh set of front brakes and the LiquiMoly service treatment.

Believe it or not this has a retail price recommended at over $4000, and this car has two of them.. Ouch

As well as a nice upgrade kit for an S4 come out of the states utilising some Porsche parts
Below are some lovely Genuine discs and pads, direct out of Germany
This Audi S4 Porsche upgrade, came with discs, pads, calipers and hoses. Slight mods needed for the backing plate, a certification was needed however no faults noted, a very nice upgrade for sure.
BMW 530D low on power sometimes, plumbed in a boost gauge to find low erratic boost. Combination of a failed turbo and a seizing waste gate.
The owner will be glad he has a warranty to cover this repair…. Genuine BMW replacement Turbo = ouch!!
New and Shiny
When you get told the replacement lights are $2400+gst each its time to think outside the box.
These lights would not pass a WOF and I thought were not able to be salvaged, but we gave them a go anyway, Very happy with the result as is the customer!!!
Some heavily corroded brake pistons here, unfit to reuse ..
